gilt. Zweitens möchte ich die Grenzen dieses Holismus
einschätzen."
Das englische "Abstract":
"This paper develops a new
suggestion for a philosophical characterization of
quantum holism by combining the basic ideas of the
proposals which exist in the literature: Quantum holism
consists in non-separability in the sense that the parts
of a quantum whole have some of the properties which make
something a quantum system only taken together.
Consequently, there are non-supervenient relations among
the parts of a quantum whole, and a quantum whole has
physically significant properties which do not supervene
upon the non-relational properties of its parts. Going
into the scope of quantum holism, I argue in the last
part of the paper that it is most plausible to regard
quantum holism as being limited to more or less the
microphysical realm; otherwise, a commitment to hotly
disputed positions in epistemology and semantics
ensues."
